Keona became interested in food at a very early age. She started making memories from the ezbake oven. Then grew into making baked desserts for the holidays with her mom. Her dad began teaching her the art of cooking and operating a restaurant. One of her dreams at an early age was to own a restaurant. So at the age of 9 Keona Dooley started taking orders (barely looking over the register), standing beside her dad learning how to cook, and beside her mom learning the business.

Upon graduation, Keona has literally grew up in the restaurant Learning every task to make the establishment run. She has been recognized with several awards, television and news appearances, and mentored the next generation by speaking into their future. Keona has made many memories catering for local and national artists such as Shirley Ceasar, Jadakiss, 21Savage, Kimmy Kreations, Chubb Rock, comedians Kev on Stage and Nephew Tommy, Barenuckle Champion Reggie Barnett, Battle Rap artist Ave and the list continues.

Keona is a cookbook author, owner of 2 restaurants and food truck.

“Woooow!” That’s a common statement from visitors when they enter the National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Located near the end of Washington Dulles International Airport’s runways, the Udvar-Hazy Center is a must-see destination in the region. The museum’s massive exhibit spaces make it easy to social distance, while taking in some pretty amazing sites. The Boeing Aviation Hangar has nearly 200 aircraft on display, including an Air France Concorde, the last remaining World War I-era Sopwith Camel that was built by the Sopwith Company, the largest collections of Japanese and German World War II aircraft in the world, helicopters, commercial and private airplanes, and more. Any “space geek” that steps into the McDonnell Space Hangar will feel like a kid in a candy store when they get up close to the Center’s collection of space artifacts, including Space Shuttle “Discovery,” the Apollo 11 Mobile Quarantine Facility, space suits, rockets, satellites, and space toys (just to mention a few things). The Museum also has a restoration hangar with an overlook for watching the conservation work underway on a number of artifacts, including the B-26 Marauder “Flak Bait,” which flew more missions than any other American plane during World War II.New: The Museum now has a full-service Shake Shack (the first in a museum), offering burgers, chicken sandwiches, crispy fries, shakes and more. A self-serve “quick picks” station is available, featuring sandwiches, salads, fruit, and snacks. The Museum is open daily from 10:00 am – 5:30 pm. Admission is free. Parking is $15/car for vehicles entering prior to 4:00 pm. Public transportation is available via Fairfax Connector’s 983 bus.
