Established in 2003, Timbuktu Bookstore is, according to its website, “dedicated to building the best you. We are mind-builders, spirit-builders and health-builders. We carry a wide array of books. We feature health, dietary, history, children’s, self-help, religious, spiritual, African history, geography, and economic titles.” Timbuktu also sells beauty products, incense, Masai beaded jewelry and more.

The Elizabeth River Trail is a 10.5 Mile multi-modal urban waterfront trail in the heart of Norfolk, VA. Following the historic working waterfront of the Elizabeth River, the ERT connects 28 neighborhoods, runs through the campuses of Norfolk State University and Old Dominion University, is home to some of the Norfolk’s most iconic sites.
The Chrysler Museum has 50 galleries, a growing collection of more than 30,000 objects, an interactive space for families, and the only glass studio of its kind in the Mid-Atlantic region. Best of all, admission is free.
Its nationally recognized collection includes paintings, sculpture, glass, photography, and decorative arts. The Museum mounts an ambitious schedule of exhibitions and educational programs each season. The Chrysler Museum campus also includes a research art library and a historic house.

THE JEAN OUTLAND CHRYSLER LIBRARY AND MOSES MYERS HOUSE
A premier resource for artists and students, the Jean Outland Chrysler Library is a closed-stacks, non-lending library. The Moses Myers House is the oldest Jewish home in America open to the public as a museum and introduces visitors to the life of an early 19th-century merchant family.
